Install & properly set your irrigation timer
How does this action
help our Lagoon?
Follow the St Johns Water Management District watering restrictions to make sure you’re not over-irrigating. This technique both saves you money and prevents unnecessary contributions to stormwater run-off. The restrictions are designed to allow enough water to maintain healthy landscapes year-round.
As a general guideline, water before 10a or after 4p for approx 20min per zone. Click here for tips on how to calibrate your system so you know how long to water each zone.
Prevent excess water from flowing off your property and into the storm drains by setting your irrigation timer according to the restrictions. Then set seasonal alerts on your calendar to prompt you to adjust your timer accordingly.
Upload a photo of your installed and
properly set irrigation system timer.
