Take Simple Actions Each Day to Protect the Lagoon.
Blow Grass clippings back into the lawn.
When grass clippings are left in the street, rain can wash them into stormdrains and the lagoon, contributing to the accumulation of muck. Keep grass off streets and away from water.
Adjust sprinklers before rain.
Excess irrigation leads to water runoff, which can introduce harmful pollutants into the lagoon. Commit to these water-saving tips to help the lagoon.
Pick up after your pet.
When pet waste is left on the ground, harmful bacteria can enter the lagoon through stormdrains and ditches. Make it your business to pick up your pet’s business.
Wash your car over your lawn.
